Choose Wisely by Scottish artist Alice Boyle explores those moments when the ball is in your court and a decision could change the course of your life. It is a reminder to pause, consider your choices and be wise. The painting is created by building up layers of plaster and carving into the final surface, usually with the end of a paintbrush before it dries. Acrylic paint is then layered over the textured surface, allowing the image to gradually emerge.
